Our Philosophy

 

ReMAP refers to the ability to change both physically and mentally.  It provides a pathway for improving performance and function.

 

ReMAP stands for our ability to relearn and gain full control of our neuromuscular system.  MAP is an abbreviation for Movement Action Pattern.  ReMAP is about understanding how to reprogram our movements, thoughts and expectations to improve our performance and experience of life.

 

"ReMAP was born from necessity after what seemed like hammering my head into a wall for 10 years+ trying to understand movement and development of power. A blessing came in the form of a Grade 3 hamstring tear.  This forced time off, provided a mental break from my desires to get stronger in the squat and deadlift and a chance to look a bit deeper into things. What was found with the help of x-rays was a 2.5cm structural leg length difference and moderate osteoarthritis in the hips.  This new information I had learnt gave me the clarity to go about changing and adapting my training style.”

 

ReMAP is about sharing lessons learnt from a lifetime of pursuing strength, from injury management to sports performance.
